Issue Summary: From 12:49pm PDT on Tuesday June 27th 2023 to 13:20 PDT on Tuesday, June 27th, 2023, approximately 1% of users were seeing issues loading Slack. The issue was caused by Slack not allocating resources effectively in our backend database. Once resources were reallocated, the issue was resolved. Our engineering team is taking a look at the cause to make sure it does not occur in the future.

We have found the issue, and user impact should now be resolved. Users should no longer have trouble loading Slack. We're sorry for the interruption!

We’re still actively investigating this issue. In particular, about 1% of users may be experiencing slowness or errors when loading threads or using Slack. We’ll provide another update as soon as we have more information to share.
