Can't dismiss Now you've got Later

Issue summary:
On September 26, 2023 from 10:00 AM PDT to 12:00 PM PDT, some users on our new interface design couldn't dismiss an information prompt that read "You now have Later".

These users also experienced their UI locking, and were unable to click anything in the Slack app. For some, the sparkle animation fixed over the Later icon in the sidebar also persisted longer than intended.

We identified the root cause as a missing detail in a recent code change. We reverted the change to mitigate the immediate issue, then deployed a fix to fully resolve the problem for all impacted users.

Note: Due to an internal tooling error, we initially reported the times in this summary in UTC, but labeled with PDT. We have corrected this mistake and apologize for any confusion caused.

On September 26, 2023 from 5:00pm PDT to around 7:00pm PDT, some customers may have experienced issues with an information prompt for the updated Later feature. In some cases, the prompt could not be dismissed and prevented access to other parts of Slack.

We’re receiving reports around some users not being able to dismiss the "Now you've got Later" coach mark, and the inability to interact with the Slack app with their cursor.

We’ve identified the cause of this issue and we’re working on getting a fix out as soon as possible. We’ll be back once we have another update to share.
