Some customers may be having issues with Gmail add-ons

Issue summary: On June 3, 2024 from 6:30 AM PDT to 8:30 PM PDT, some users were unable to use shortcuts for both Zoom and Gmail add-ons in Slack. These issues were traced back to two upstream providers and have been resolved with no action taken from our side. Users should no longer be experiencing any trouble. Thank you for your patience.

Issues with notifications in the desktop app

Incident summary: On June 3, 2024 from 5:40 PM PDT to 8:00 PM PDT, some users may not have received notifications when using Slack on desktop. During a routine update, we deployed a change that mistakenly introduced an error into our notifications code. We identified the cause of the error and implemented a fix, which we rolled out to all desktop users. This fully resolved the issue for all impacted customers.

We believe we've identified the code change that introduced this issue. We have reverted to a previous build to resolve this, and the revert is rolling out to everyone now. To fetch the change immediately, please reload Slack with Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R. We'll be back with another update once the revert has reached everyone, or if we have more news to share.

We have determined that this is affecting the desktop app more generally and is not limited to the Mac app. We've updated the status site accordingly, and will provide another update in 30 minutes.
