Incident

Some users unable to connect to Slack

Issue summary: On June 20, 2024 from 11:30 AM PDT to 11:50 AM PDT, some users were unable to load Slack and may have experienced a “We are unable to load your workspace” error message. We made a backend update to one of our databases which unexpectedly caused that database to become overloaded, resulting in some users being unable to load Slack. We paused the update until error rates returned to normal, which resolved the issues for all affected users.

4:56 PM PST

We’ve rolled out a fix and Slack is back to full functionality for impacted users. If you’re still encountering any trouble, please reload Slack using Command + Shift + R (Mac) or Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows/Linux).

12:52 PM PST

Some users are seeing signs of improvement, but we’re still investigating the situation. We’ll confirm once the issue with loading Slack is fully resolved or we have another update to share.

12:34 PM PST

We're investigating an issue impacting some users' ability to load Slack. We'll share an update once we have more information, and we appreciate your patience.
