Incident
Some users may experience trouble loading Slack channels.
Issue Summary: From August 22, 2024 at 2:20 PM PDT to August 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM PDT, some users had trouble loading channels and saw the error "REBD7A8C1099" while navigating between conversations in Slack. A recent update unexpectedly caused difficulty fetching members in large channels on both the desktop and browser versions which prompted the error code. Once we identified the specific update and reverted it, the error was resolved. After a hard reload, affected users were able to access all impacted channels. We apologize for the disruption this caused.
