Issues with Japanese and Korean fonts
Issue summary: On August 27, 2024 from 8:30 AM PDT to August 28, 2024 at 8:50 AM PDT, Windows users with Korean and Japanese applied as their default app font were seeing distorted characters in Slack. We traced the cause of this unexpected behavior back to an update we made impacting fonts in Slack. Once we identified the root cause, we issued a fix that adjusted the appearance of Korean and Japanese font in Slack back to normal, fully resolving the issue.
