Incident
Users are unable to create or edit workflows
Issue summary:
On September 9, 2024, between 11:45 AM PDT and 1:15 PM PDT, users experienced loading issues with Workflow Builder encountering a blank page or a "Something went wrong" error while creating, editing or duplicating workflows.
We determined that a background data maintenance task caused a lag which had a cascading effect on workflow related elements, creating the issues users were experiencing. We paused this task, reducing the lag, which restored functionality for users.
Note: This summary has been updated to better reflect the root cause and mitigation actions taken by Slack during this incident.
