Summary

From October 31, 2024 4:30 PM PDT to November 1, 2024 3:30 AM PDT some users experienced issues with the date field in lists appearing garbled.

We were able to trace this back to a code change that inadvertently caused the issue.

We reverted this code change which resolved the issue for all affected users.

Please hard reload Slack by using cmd / ctrl + shift + r to see it appear correctly.

Investigating

Some users may be experiencing issues with the date field in lists in Slack. When the 'Date format' is set to 'System default', the date may appear garbled. We are investigating and we're very sorry for the disruption.

As a workaround, please switch to another option for the 'Date format' for now. We'll be back with an update as soon as we have more information.
