Issues connecting to Slack
Summary
On January 13, 2025 from 4:45 PM PST to 5:05 PM PST, users may have experienced brief issues with Slack, including connecting to Slack, sending and loading messages and threads, and running workflows.
We made a planned changed to part of our infrastructure that inadvertently caused a problem on one of our database clusters, resulting in failures across a number of our API endpoints. Our automatic recovery systems stepped in and restarted the database cluster, restoring API success rates and resolving the issue for all impacted users.

Users may have briefly experienced issues connecting to Slack, sending messages, or loading message and thread content. This issue has now been resolved and Slack should be running smoothly for everyone once again.
