Some users on iOS may have trouble loading channels and messages.

From 09:00 PDT on March 14th, 2025 to 12:43 PDT on March 20th, 2025, some users reported slowness or blank loading screens while accessing Slack channels on iOS devices. 

We investigated and found that a backend feature toggle had unexpected changes made to it which impacted users who were part of a large amount of channels. We made the necessary backend updates for those affected, which restored full functionality for all impacted users.

We've resolved the issue with channels and messages not loading for users on iOS. If you're still encountering any trouble, please try fully closing the Slack mobile app by using your device’s app switcher and swiping up on Slack.
