Incident
Microsoft Outlook and Related Connectors – Connection Issues

Starting at around 7:30 PM PDT on August 31, 2025, until around 5:35 AM PDT on September 1, 2025, some users were unable to authenticate their Outlook account when using the Microsoft Outlook Email steps in Workflow Builder, specifically the "Send an email" step. This may have presented as a "Something went wrong" page with an "access_token_exchange_failed" error.
A backend authentication configuration was attempting to use incorrect credentials when initiating the OAuth flow, which resulted in the errors. We conducted a routine update to correct the credentials, resolving the issue for all users.
7:18 AM PST
The problem originated from an expired certificate. We updated the certificate to address this, which successfully resolved the issue. Thank you for your patience as we worked to resolve this issue. We apologize for any disruptions to your day.
6:22 AM PST
We are investigating an issue where users may encounter errors when attempting to connect to Microsoft-related connectors, including Calendar, OneDrive, and Teams. We are working to implement necessary updates to restore normal connector functionality.
We’ll provide the update as soon as more information becomes available.
