GovSlack users are having trouble connecting to Slack

From January 22, 2025 at around 4:47 PM PST until January 23, 2025 at 7:18 AM PST some GovSlack users were not able to load their workspaces in their Slack desktop client.
A recent change to backend logic introduced an unexpected error when the desktop client attempted to load workspaces due to missing database values.
After identifying the problematic code, we rolled out a change to the logic, restoring full functionality and resolving the issue for all affected users.

This issue is no longer impacting GovSlack and users should now be able load their workspace.

Some GovSlack users are unable to load their workspace and are seeing errors in their connection test: https://my.slack.com/help/test/4139980. We apologize for the trouble and will be back as soon as we have an update to share.
