Unable to connect to GovSlack
Summary
Beginning around 1:11 PM PST until around 1:32 PM PST on January 21, 2026, some GovSlack logged out users were unable to connect or load Slack, showing a "Server Error". This affected the slack-gov.com domain.
A backend toggle related to a configuration change was unexpectedly enabled for the GovSlack product, causing a spike in errors. We rolled back the suspected problematic toggle, resolving the issue for all users.

We resolved the issue users were experiencing when trying to load or access GovSlack workspaces.

We’re investigating reports of a “Server error” page when attempting to load workspaces or pages in GovSlack. This includes pages using the “slack-gov.com” domain. We’ll be back with another update as soon as possible.
